The mechanical seal for dyeing and finishing is due to the transmission shaft running through the inside and outside of the equipment. In this way, there is a circular gap between the shaft and the equipment. The medium in the equipment leaks through the gap. If the pressure in the equipment is lower than the atmospheric pressure, the air leaks into the equipment. Therefore, there must be an axle seal device to prevent leakage.
Static pressure test is required before the dyeing and finishing mechanical seal started, thus to check whether the mechanical seal is leaking or not. If there are many leaks, need to identify the causes and try to eliminate them. If still invalid, need to remove, check and reinstall. The general static pressure test pressure is 2 ~ 3 kg/cm2. The mechanical seal is an axle seal device that maintains the adhesive and is equipped with an auxiliary seal to prevent leakage under the influence of fluid pressure and the elastic (or magnetic) force of the compensation mechanism.
Mechanical seals use the principle of friction between two planes to achieve the purpose of sealing. The rotary close cover is mounted on the main shaft of the liquid pump, while the fixed close cover is mounted on the sealed pressure cover. Since one secret cover is moving and the other is stationary, this type of seal is called a dynamic seal.
